  • Questions of the week: December 14th

    1) Eggnog. Good or gross? Must it be spiked?

    2) Snow. Love it or hate it?

    3) Surprises. Love them or hate them? Does it make a difference if you're the planner or recipient?

    1. I love egg nog, and I actually prefer it with no booze in it.

    2. I hate snow. It can be pretty for about two seconds, but that's it. No thank you.

    3. I hate surprises! Giving and receiving. I can't stand the suspense. I gotta know now, and I've gotta tell now!

Like it, but avoid it because of calories. Not spiked.

Snow. Love a White Christmas. Love snow activities. I like snow and 32 degrees. I'm not a fan of freezing temps.

I like surprises, but not waiting for them.

Eggnog: love it, and love it with frangelico

Snow? Not a fan. Ironic for someone stuck in the great white north.

Surprises? Nope, not a fan. I don't mind planning them, but I really dislike being on the receiving end.

Questions of the week: December 14th

          1. Used to love it. Like LOVE it. Now - meh

          2. I love the idea of snow - I love looking outside at a beautiful white wonderland. I love snuggling by the fire, and drinking hot cocoa. I hate driving in, walking in, and/or removing the snow

          3. I love surprises, but am very rarely genuinely surprised. I love surprising other people.

Eggnog: yes, especially in a latte. Never had it spiked but it can't be bad?

Snow: love it, but in small doses. Decided I'm not cut out for the real north after all. I think KC or Tulsa is my perfect climate

Surprises: love receiving and planning them

I dislike all three to varying degrees.

Eggnog is just too thick. It's a texture thing for me. I love the smell, though.

After living in an area where it wasn't unheard of to wake up to 2'-3' new feet of snow overnight, I'm kind of over the whole thing. Where we currently live gets snow, but not usually a metric shit ton overnight.

Surprises? Meh. I could go either way.

                1) Looooove me some eggnog!

                2) I love snow too, but that's only because we don't get much here.

                3) I hate surprised bestowed upon me, but I love surprising other people.

Yum! I've never tried it spiked... wont get to this holiday season. Maybe next year...

                  2) Snow. Love it or hate it?

Both? I love it as long as I dont have to go anywhere.

I enjoy as long as I don't know a surprise is coming. If someone tells me there is a surprise coming, that drives me nuts. Seriously.. if there is a surprise, ACTUALLY surprise me. Thank you. lol. I enjoy surprising others too.

                    1. Eggnog? Meh. I'd rather have Kahlua on ice. That's totally the same thing right?

                    2. Snow? Love it but mainly because I've never lived anywhere where we've had more than a couple of inches per year max (most years zero) so it's still a novelty to me.

                    3. Surprises? Don't really like being surprised, but love surprising other people.

                      1) Gross, but DH loves it (plain or spiked)

                      2) Love it!

                      3) Ambivalent - I like gift surprises but no other surprises really...

Eggnog - YES! I don't have a preference on spiking but its always good.

Snow - love it if there is enough to play in otherwise its just a PIA!

Surprises - not really but I'd love DH to throw me a surprise party or try to surprise me with an event/date just once. He doesn't even try. I love planning them for other people though.

I hate eggnog and snow. Bah humbug.

But, I love surprises! I love both being surprised and surprising others. I'm such a planner, but I love being spontaneous too! I make no sense. :P

                            1) Eggnog? Nope.

                            2) Snow? I like a moderate winter season. Enough to play in but not months on end.

                            3) Surprises? I'm ashamed to admit it but I'm too much of a control freak to enjoy surprises on my behalf. I like giving them to other people, however.

                              1) Eggnog? No. Casein allergy. Boo hiss. Used to like it; makes me congested and itchy now.

                              2) Snow? Love it in a city that knows how to clear it. Love it in a city that has SNOW, not "wintry mix". Do not like being in a place that requires driving in snow. I prefer subways and sidewalks that turn in to canyons when the plows come through. And...preferably, sidewalk plows too. God, I miss Boston.

                              3) Surprises? Usually make me nervous. I'm a control freak. That said, had a surprise party for my 25th birthday party thrown by my hubby and it was the BEST party ever. He really pulled it off and it was big, loud and awesome. Not at all what I'd think I'd enjoy but I certainly did.
