    Fun questions!

Best-- no pressure on me to entertain or to cook anything special.

Longest stretch-- now this year probably 9-- sat thru sun. After this year ends we will be able to take a loooooong vacation. Dh has maxed out the number of vacation days allowed-- he needs to burn some up quickly right after we finish fellowship. I think he will take 3 weeks of leave right in a row. (Most of July!!)

We were lucky this year and got to take a little vacation over christmas! He will be working new years so there will be no pressure to go out and I can stay home and watch movies, but I wish he could be there too. It's also tough, just generally, having to go to bed early for his schedule.

If DH works on Christmas, he gets up with us and does Christmas morning and then gets to go to work before he gets too bored sitting around, so that can be nice. But if he works on Thanksgiving then we don't host family or go anywhere and it was rather dull this year. Yet, it was also a good excuse to take a year off of making the big meal.

He gets scheduled for about a week off every month, but there are usually meetings peppered in there. For our February vacation he's requested 8 days. He's actually in the middle of 7 days right now, and no meetings either -- but he checks the board from home, and today it was busy and he was bored so he went to work for a couple of hours, LOL.

Haven't experienced this yet (in fact, hubby 2 weeks off between rotations for the holidays this year!), but it's good to read your experiences and see what we'll be headed for in the future, good and bad!
