I can't think of anything good and SO likes my virgin skin. Honestly, I'm kind of surprised that I don't have one of those drunk tats that you regret the next morning like Papa Smurf blowing JFK with butterflies overhead.

Remind me to never let you design a tattoo for me...your imagination is scary!

So the tattoo bug has bitten me and I really want one. The only place I'd want one really is on the inside of my wrist. Really simple, just words, pretty small - something I can cover up with bracelets/watch/bandaid if necessary. I think I want "let it be." in all lowercase simple font. Not only is it meaningful to me because the song, The Beatles, and Paul McCartney have been incredibly meaningful in my life, it also might be a nice reminder to glance down at in the coming years. "There will be an answer, let it be." Just...let it be, it will be alright (repeating this to myself for the next 8 years).
I've also really wanted a tiny tattoo on the inside of my left-hand ring finger...a snippet of DH's EKG (he has copies of both of ours from when he was an EKG tech and routinely did our EKGs because it was "fun"), which could be hidden under my rings but would still be there. I can't decide if I think it's super lame, or sweet. Either way, it would mean something - a big something. Also would be even more relevant for (if) when DH inevitably becomes a cardiologist?Last edited by WolfpackWife; 07-28-2014, 11:12 AM.Wife, support system, and partner-in-crime to PGY-3 (IM) and spoiler of our 11 y/o yellow lab

WPW, I like your tattoo ideas, especially the EKG one, it's so cute I don't have any yet either, but I've been contemplating one for years. I turn 30 in a few weeks and thought it would be a good time to finally get it. But now I've become slightly obsessed with watercolor tattoos, and I feel like if I'm finally going to pull the trigger, I want it to be a watercolor. Only problem seems to be finding a good artist who isn't booked out to wazoo!PA and wife of a PGY2 in neurosurgery. And "cat-mom" to the two sweetest cats anyone could hope for.
