Did anyone see the interview of bode miller? Where the reporter made him cry? Way to tarnish his last ever Olympic medal. Well done. I know he tweeted afterwards to go easy on the reporter, but I was just appalled.

Truly that woman should be fired. It was disgusting.

I was also annoyed by the mic on Bode's wife---- why? Why do we need to hear that?

It was really nice of him to not blame her. Looks like he's grown up a lot since Torino.

Yes!! It was super annoying. While I'm glad they have a relationship dynamic that is normal, I didn't need to know about it. I was uncomfortable every time they turned on her mic, like I was hearing about their private world without my prior consent.

                I agree. So strange.

I wonder if he/his "people" requested that. He's been in an on-going custody battle, and he may really want everyone to see that he and his wife have a great relationship, would provide a good home to a child, etc.

Wow. So interesting! I had no idea, but certainly thought it was strange and awkward. Would make sense though....

                    • I'm REALLY glad I turn off the channel whenever Miller appears.

This has to be the best line of the entire Olympics coverage (including iMSN and NBC).

That's a good point. Miller's is a cautionary tale in what happens when you don't glove up before getting down.

                          • They also swept that whole custody thing completely under the rug when they did the piece on Bode.

Verbatim quote: He and Morgan are raising his two children from previous relationships, five year old Dace and one year old Nathaniel

Accurate paraphrase by me: they are raising Dace and are in a heated interstate custody battle for Bode's son who is named Samuel on his birth certificate but who Bode calls Nathaniel.

NBC totally downplayed that since they wanted access to Bode's interview.

Yup. This makes me think the ENTIRE episode was set up by his PR people.

                              • Ugh, very gross, especially considering how anti-media and PR he was previously. Should've kept it in your pants, Mr. Miller.
