His wife was also the only person let into the athlete area that I saw. Why was she permitted to wait with him for results when other families aren't allowed that privilege.

I love the Olympics but I feel like NBC has made some questionable choices so far.

Plus, I thought it was so rude how she kept asking Ted Ligity (sp?) how he thought Bode was doing. The poor guy didn't medal...he doesn't want to talk about your husband!

I know-- I didn't see that he had raced until the wrap up. How inappropriate of her to ask him!! I thought he must've retired or something based on how she was talking.

It was stupid to have her there and with the mic on. I can't help but think Bode would've preferred to not have her--- unless it's just a whole publicity stunt which is possible.

The thing that is irritating me the most is the commentators. Maybe I'm just getting old... But they seem so over the top inappropriate. They say the dumbest things.

This! I was like dude, he is completely disappointed in himself and anyone could tell he didn't want to talk and she's asking do you think he'll get gold? Will he be on the podium? Have some sensitivity.

Wow! Disappointing loss for the women's hockey team. The first goal they allowed was a bit of a fluke. They also had several good chances in overtime but there wasn't much they could do shorthanded 5-3. Hopefully the men will have better luck tomorrow.

Did anyone see the interview Collingsworth did with Sarah Burke's parents? Her mom was so eloquent and amazing when talking about her daughter. What a strong woman.

Her parents were amazing.

Also I think that might be my new favorite event. How cute was it when all three medalists from three different countries were hugging each other in excitement? It's so different than so many of the other events when the silver and bronze medalists look like such poor sports. It seemed that they were genuinely happy for each other.

Am I the only one who wishes some of the figure skaters could do a better job finding tights that match their skin color?

I've decided that the best way to watch the games is via DVR. I can skip entire events (I'm looking at you, figure skating) and moronic commentary/interviews.

They were so gracious and strong! And CP, word. I like how snowboarders and freestyle skiers seem much more open and genuinely friendly with each other.
