  • Comfort Food

To continue a theme from a previous thread....... What is your comfort food? Sweet, Savory, Sour, or Bitter?

My comfort food is salty and greasy!! I guess that would fall in the savory camp. If offered a plate of brownies and ice cream or nachos and hot sauce, I would take the nachos!!!

Both! Ruffles and onion dip or jalapeno/bbq chips or ice cream and cake depending on what time of the month.

Salty 90% of the time. Popcorn, nachos, mac & cheese, pasta carbonara... Chocolate only when I have PMS and plenty of milk handy. My favorite is Chocolove Milk Chocolate, Toffee & Almonds.

Depends on what the issue is.

Sick: Soup. Chicken soup, egg drop soup.

Cold and gloomy: Chili with scoops chips, mac and Cheese

When I just want to snack: Salt and Vinegar chips and twizzlers

All the food is comfort food. All of it. Well, the worse the food is for me health-wise, the more comfort it gives me. So my favorite go to comfort foods are ice cream and cheese. My main comforts are highly dairy-based, but definitely sweet and salty are the winners, with sweets edging it out.

Sweet and salty. I love chocolate. And my favorite salty is the crappy nacho cheese dip with tortilla chips. I can't even have it in the house because it will sit in the cupboard calling my name until I eat all of it. It is embarrassing.

My hands down favorite is getting a ciabatta baguette, and spreading this buffalo cheddar spread that Wegmans makes on each half and then broiling it. So. Good.
I wish we could just eat whatever the hell we pleased with no repercussions.

I'm not that big on sweets. Not saying I won't eat them, but it's not what I crave.

I wouldn't have guessed that about you at all, Ms. Chocolatier!!

I know! I don't know what the hell happened. I used to eat chocolates for breakfast. *hangs head in shame*
