  • What's your favorite perfume?

Just for funsies. I'm the type that can never settle on a single "signature" perfume. I'm trying out Chloe right now, but I accidentally picked up the Classic thinking it was just their current scent - I guess I should have known from the vintage-style box? It's kind of 70s, it reminds me of some of the old scents my mom had from before I was born, but I have chunky bangs right now so I'm down with that. Before that it was Marc Jacobs (original - gardenia?) and before that YSL Parisienne. So I guess I like florals. What do you like?

Dolce and Gabana Light Blue is my fav. I'll be looking for others here.

You know, I don't know! DH has Banana Republic Black Walnut, and that's pretty nice. I use it lightly myself sometimes, it's not hit-you-in-the-face mannish.

My 3 go-to are Daisy by Marc Jacobs, and 2 different scents in the Encanto line by Ferragamo.

DH doesn't wear scented anything unless he isn't working, and my favorite smell on him is Apparition by Emanuel Ungaro.

Gucci Envy Me. It's been a fav for almost 5 years. I have a few others but don't like as much. This weather has turned me into a walking REI advertisement so I only really wear perfume when I'm getting *fancy*

Lolita Lempicka is the only thing I've worn for years. It's perfect.

I should also admit that I still have a bottle of Clinique Happy, which reminds me of high school and college, and I will spray it when I'm in the right mood, but never if I'm going out with someone who would be able to identify it because I would be too embarrassed. I'm a teenager at heart.

Ha! This made me laugh. I still have like three bottles of Chanel chance - which I wore in college until probably age 26ish. I don't wear anything now, but like once a year I spray it and my DH says it "smells like fun [insert my name]." It's so sad, but makes me laugh.

Most perfume gives me a raging headache, but I found one in my Birchbox that I LOVE.

Lately, I'm wearing the solid perfume from Lush Gorilla brand called Breath of God. It's very zen and easy to smear on my wrists after a shower.

Stella for years now. On men, I just really like my guy's smell. I wore Prescriptives' Calyx in high school while everyone else wore CK or Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers but Calyx never felt right. Stella feels right.

My daytime perfume is Gucci Flora. Evening one is Armani Code. I change it every few years. DH wears L'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent. He gets bored with them quickly so we have to go in search of a new one every couple of years.
