    I'm totally
Guilty of posting endless child pics and stories. I do try and make them interesting/funny though. Helps the grandparents keep up. And serves as a baby book (lame I know)

I have enough friends with genuinely hilarious children that I do enjoy the occasional kid story. And I'll admit to loving fresh baby pictures (but not TOO fresh!!!). BUT, when I see updates about kiddo's first poop in the potty I throw up in my mouth a little.

It's funny that you say that, because all the ones I personally know have had some trust issues/problems with inappropriate boundaries...

I have a friend who recently closed her FB page and opened one with her husband. I kid you not when I say he calls her every 30 minutes from work each day. She openly admits it. I'm lucky if DH responds to one oft texts during the day.

Yes! Knew someone who had a joint account with his wife. He cheated on her and they're divorced now.

Yup! My BIL and SIL -- they did this bc they had to shut down their accts for YEARS due to trust issues/FB flirting with exes (on his part as far as I know...)

I did this when I first started on FB because it was much harder for people to find me. I do not have any trust issues re: DH...well, except the fact that I do not trust him to pay one single bill on time, or to leave MY one snack alone when he has sooo many or....um, ok off topic. . I honestly did it because only a few people could find me (those that I told) and as such I did not have to deal with a bunch of friend requests I did not want. I still do not have too many friends...for a loooong time I only had 27. Now I am up to 54 but reeeeallly want to defriend one that bugs the hell out of me (nice person) but her posts make me grrrrr. However, she WILL notice that I defriended her and will take offense. I also just re added one that I defriended because his GF bugs the hell out of me and she would tag him all.the.time. It took him a month to notice and I just added him back and acted like I had no clue as to what happened. Truly, I cannot say enough about my rule of not friending anyone you would not invite over to dinner regularly.

About a year ago I dropped DH's name because he bitched so much about it. He is proud of his anti-FB status. I am thinking about getting him a t-shirt made that says "It is 2014 and I still do not have a FB account succka". . Interestingly though, Dawkter anti-FB is always asking me about news re: our friends there. I told him last time to pick up his rotary phone and call their land line if he wants to know that bad. . Yeah, ok, maybe I do have some trust issues...just not about exes...hey if they are willing to take on the med school loans, I am all for it.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

Mine isn't on FB either, but I logged mine into his iPad so he looks at my feed all the time. And, I'm friends with all of his friends (high school, college, med school) and family (mom, sister, aunts, uncles, cousins) so he keeps up with everyone anyway!

I could see that, but 3 of them are church friends and 1 is my cousin, and I never got that feeling from them. Then again, what do I know?

I don't mind pics and updates of friends' kids and/or grand kids. I actually think those are sweet.

That freaks me right the fuck out and sounds like the start of emotional abuse and isolating her.

She's a very close friend and he's definitely not isolating her. She goes out with friends, very outgoing etc. But he does things like monitors her spending (I'd like to see DH do that!). I need to ask her why she closed hers. But every time I'm with her, he's calling her.

FWIW, DH and I used to be like that. We'd talk on the phone like....5 times a day ... right up until fellowship. I actually feel like it's sad we don't anymore! It's not always abusive or controlling.
