LinkedIn for Docs?

I'm an IT geek. In my industry it's all about being on LinkedIn.

Is there a similar spot for doctors?

LinkedIn is a place for anything? I thought it was completely useless (not that I'm not on it)

DH is on LinkedIn and Doximity.

I'm a 'gun for hire' IT geek. I enjoy different challenges and companies.
So for me its an absolute. It's the only way people can find me.

There are a lot of tricks on it. When I use it right I get between 4-13 calls from recruiters a day.

DoctorWife is in a situation where the hospital may not renew the contract with the medical company she works through. Non-compete clause says she can't stay if they lose the contract. So we need to get her known.
Or are their other ways docs meet potential employers?

That's the one I was thinking of, though there may be more.
I graduated from Northwestern with a Doctorate in Divinity. So I show up as Alacrity DD. Rather than a Phd. I've gotten three connect invites through that place. Plus the dental school keeps trying to solicit me for donations.

DH had to join LinkedIn when he was getting his CPE. It is used widely amongst docs in admin roles.
