We don't have that much going on this year. For the most part, we'll be heading to the cabin on weekends. We have no big vacation or camps planned this year.
What will your summer look like?
The kids and I are heading to our new location as soon as school gets out. DH has to stay behind until July 1. Then he has the whole month off before the new job!!! We'll just hang around the new city and relax.
We have a short trip to Boston for BILs residency graduation, a short trip to Destin to see friends/take pictures, my sister comes out here for a week, my parents will be out here for a week, and I think a real family vacation (!) sometime in July (probably to a cooler temp).
Throw in swimming lessons and another inner city move (possibly).
I've never had such a busy schedule!

My plan is to have a slow summer. Walk to the pool (or bike or drive when it's just too effing hot). Play with the kids. That feels really important right now. So for a couple of months, I'll work a little less, be present a little more, and get in the pool a whole lot. Right now it all sounds dreamy: ice cream dribbling down chins, kids really learning to swim. I know it won't quite match what's in my head, but hopefully, it will all come close...
July and August will be pretty busy with at least 4 trips. Otherwise, we'll still have music, swim, dance, and story time. We'll also head to the pool at least a couple times a month, but with 2 small kids, I have to take our sitter and it will hardly be relaxing

I'm taking organic chemistry. I'm putting the final touches on my PA application, and I'll hopefully be interviewing sometime this summer. It looks like I am going to require a fairly major surgery in the next 2-3 months. Yuck. We are trying to get a contract settled for Chad's work situation. Ryan is going to Italy for 11 days in June. I'll probably sign the kids up for a few camps (maybe space camp for Lexi). We will likely take a family trip to Utah to see extended family in August, but that trip is up in the air with my impending surgery.

No trips other than me coming to the imsn meet up planned so far. O has a bunch of summer camp 1/2 day weeks set up for soccer, Spanish, and art at the school he'll start k at next year. I suspect we'll be going to spray parks and the pool and O will probably also continue with Kung fu and once weekly gymnastics.

We are going to St. Andrews by the sea near New Brunswick Canada for a conference with DH in June, then the kids will have swim, golf and tennis lessons as well as camps and lots of time at the pool! Summer will end with a family trip (my side) to Branson for my parents 60th birthdays, we have rented a big house for the 14 of us.

I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate how completely tired I am of this school year. I.am.ready.for.summer. Right about now I'm kicking myself for not clearing my schedule to follow DH to a conference in FL this weekend. It's better that I'm staying home but like I said, fed up with this academic year. He was basically told he can't take any time off during June or July so maybe I'll go to FL then. Hopefully we can take a week in August to go somewhere fun. Coming up on a year of marriage and still haven't tapped into honeymoon $$. Not sure how or when we will since agreeing on a place is turning out to be next to impossible. We'll see.
No big plans here for summer except the iMSN conference (which I'm still not 100% sure DH has asked off for that weekend to keep the kids). DH's group will still be 2 doctors short for most of the summer, so no one is taking vacation. I guiltily signed my kids up for summer preschool (mornings only) and switched DD to 3 days a week instead of 2. I am planning on taking them out some to go visit family and maybe some friends in OKC, but we'll basically just be following our same schedule.

We're both wrapping up our semesters and I graduate on May 10th. After that, DH dives into crunch month and every weekend in May I have a beach trip planned. DH takes Step 1 in mid-June and after that has two full week so vacation before M-3 orientation. We plan to have at least a week at the beach, a day trip to DC and a day trip to Busch Gardens.
M-3 starts June 30th, but DH hopes to be able to do a July 4th weekend beach trip (also my bday), and the rest of the summer will depend on his rotation schedule - he starts with neurology. Labor Day weekend I go to Napa for a girls trip!

Nada. I was supposed to go to a wedding in Maine in June, but (shocker) I can't afford it. In my world, summer is no different than the rest of the year. Le sigh.
My oldest will be home this weekend with one year of college under his belt. 😳 He leaves May 25 for a 6 week medical mission trip to Paraguay. The other two boys and I are in school until June 3. My middle son is doing club swimming this summer, and my youngest will do a three day basketball camp in June. During the last week of June, my middle son will go on a youth mission trip the same week as my youngest goes to church camp, so DH and I are going to take advantage of the fact that the boys will be occupied and we'll go to FL for a few days. My oldest gets back from Paraguay July 5, and we will all go to MI for a family vacation July 11-19. We go back to school the week of August 11 (my oldest will go back the following weekend). I am really looking forward to the unscheduled sunny days ahead...I am still traumatized by this past winter!!!

My summer will be insane. We get back from our mission trip in early June. I will do VBS for a week. My two younger kids have youth camp the last week of June. My daughter will have a week and then she and I will be gone for 2 weeks for the Annie Moses Fine Arts camp in July. I will then have 5 days to get our stuff washed and the trailer packed for our 2 week camping trip to the Grand Canyon and Utah national parks. I will then have a week and take my older one back to college and my middle one will start dual credit. Another week and my co-op classes will start.
Next year we will probably do all of that and take middle one to line camp and college registration since he will graduate next year. I remember when summers were lazy times that seemed to last forever, but now that my kids are older and in college and we can't take our family vacations in the fall and they have activities, I blink and summer is over.
Many camps. DD (4 YO) is doing two weeks of camp at her preschool, DS (6YO) and DD (8YO) are doing Camp Invention and religious ed through a camp. Our school is changing the calendar to dismiss earlier in 2015, so we have a shorter summer than normal. DH and I are sneaking away for a 4-5 day trip - we need it! Not sure of all the details on that, yet. I still haven't figured in where I'm fitting a trip or two to Chicagoland. After my flat tire incident, I'm feeling a bit less adventurous that usual. Other than my parents, no family has been here in the last two years. They can come to us.
