Yep id say its how early you wake up and that youre losing weight / exercising like a boss. ESP if tests show you have no vitamin deficiency i just wouldnt worry about it. If you have the time / feel better napping, do it!

I get up at 4am to exercise and am also tired by mid-day. I can usually squeeze in a 15-min power nap that keeps me going the rest of the day.

I drink half a pot and I don't have any small children. And I sleep in WAY later than 4:30 am. Give yourself a break! I mean, there's no harm in making sure you're getting the right vitamins--maybe make sure you're getting enough protein too?--but I would be painfully exhausted if I kept that schedule.

I agree...that is *really* early! If napping when your kids nap allows you to keep that schedule, nap without guilt! The patience that it takes to parent little ones produces a special kind of fatigue in the caregiver!

4:30?? Holy crap - what time are you going to bed?

I'll try the Vit B and see what happens! And yes, I'm crazy - but I used to wake up at 3:30 to meet my trainer I go to bed pretty early. I enjoy coffee and soda, I just don't ever drink it - I save serious caffeine for when I really need it!

                          Between 8 & 9:30, usually around 8:30.

7 hours of sleep is great compared to what you could be getting, but haven't you just started losing weight in the last month? I started weight training again this week and forced myself to get up after sleeping 10 hours. I would just be proud you DO wake up at 4:30 to exercise. Pretty sure I would never do that.

Even if I take a day off, I don't sleep more than about 8.5 or 9 hours. I've never been a "sleep in" kind of person (unlike my husband). I picked up B complex vitamin this morning, so we'll see what that does!

What are your iron levels like? I take an extra iron supplement and if I miss a few doses, I can tell because I become more fatigued.
