    Or "chicken skin"

Anyone else have this? It showed up on my arms after I had my first kid and never went away. I'm thinking of finally going to a derm this year, but is there anything they can really do about it?

So, I have gotten rid of the stuff on my arms by exfoliating like crazy (as in every single shower, I exfoliate). The KP on my legs is a big harder to treat, but exfoliation and salicylic acid seem to be improving it.

ETA: it is really, really hard to treat.

There's a body wash that is specifically for it.
DH knows the name: I'll ask.

I have a little but most of the time it doesn't bug me. I've heard Am-Lactin or Alpha Hydrox lotions will help? Basically something with an acid to help exfoliate while it moisturizes.

I had it on the back of one of my arms and it went away when I started dry brushing.

              Lac-hydrin and Amlactin

(No regular soap/body wash on the areas, never scrub the area.)

We've had success with DS using coconut oil. He's only got a couple tiny ones now.

I've had it on my arms all my life. Kelly Raspberry (Dallas radio host) said Amlactin worked great for her, too, but I haven't convinced myself to pay the $18 it's selling for on Amazon just to try it out. Thirteen, have you found it anywhere cheaper than that? Is it worth it?

No Costco here. Are there any other retailers who sell them that might be in the middle of nowhere? If it works, I am fine with ordering from Amazon.

I've ignored it for two years and finally decided to do something about it.

So no point in seeing a derm? I hit my deductible for this year with the baby so it's now or...til the next kid!
