Going to be downtown this coming Sun and Mon. Any must eat
/have/do recommendations? We will have a car so it does not have to be downtown. We eat/try any.thing. I would normally say that we stay away from Mexican food because we are in TX but I stand corrected after having one of the best Mexican food meals and mojitos in Mobile, Alabama. Who would have thunk-it. .

What are you looking for? I've been craving a Cherry Cricket burger for weeks so that is what springs to mind. I'll be back to add more after I get the offspring in bed. I've got so many ideas, but please narrow it down for me!

Cherry Cricket has amazing burgers. http://cherrycricket.com

Fruition is probably the best meal I've had here.

The Squeaky Bean is really innovative and interesting (and also delicious).

I've recently enjoyed Acorn (which is in a cool new space with some other restaurants and a great brewery) and Beast and Bottle. My husband loves Vesta, which has been around for a long time but remains tasty.

Snooze for brunch, but only on weekdays (or really early or really late). I love them, but the wait is insane.

Everyone loves Frasca in Boulder, but I've never been.

Buzzy new places right now (none of which I've tried): The Plimouth, Work & Class, Old Major.

If you are into craft beer, there are about a million good options. We also have surprisingly good Ethiopian food in town.

Feel free to PM me if you have questions - I'm not always super attentive to this site these days.

Yes, DH is a craft beer geek! We are later heading over to Fort Collins for more beer. . I am not a beer fan (I do not like much fizzy stuff in general) and heard that Golden might be a good place to visit for wine?

Those burgers do look memorable. I am basically into anything that is memorable. Like the lobster ravioli I had at Cardero's in Vancouver over a decade ago. Hmmmm....that was some good ravioli to the salad topped with brioche I had in Fort Worth a three weeks ago. Food is an experience for us. DH and I love upscale to dives. We do prefer the joints where the locals go.

Hmm. You could try Infinite Monkey Theorem. They're fun, but their wine is nothing special.

            Cider tasting? Too fizzy?
