Okay, so beer is just fucking nasty. And, I got to be honest, I really, really don't understand social conservatism.

Coffee. I love tea too, but if I had to pick just one...

Cats. I love dogs too, but if I had to pick just one... Honestly, I find people who don't like certain kinds of animals a bit strange. Why? How does it get so ingrained that certain animals are superior? I understand allergies, but half the time I think people just use that as an excuse. I have allergies too. *Shrug.* I generally like anything furry that is friendly to me. Not big on keeping non-furry pets myself, but I'm live and let live!

Beer or Wine
Wine. Hands down. Beer can be good, but gluten free beer is mostly awful, and I like flavor.

Salty or Sweet
Salty. I can enjoy sweet stuff sometimes and will occasionally eat chocolate or ice cream, but honestly? When I hear people talking about binging on sweets it makes me kinda sick. If I eat too much salty stuff I can drink some water and go on with my life. If I eat too much sweet stuff I feel like I'm going to throw up, then I need to nap for about 2 hours, and then I feel hung over for the rest of the day. It's disgusting.

Books or Movies
Books. Too many movies and my brain feels like it's going to melt and drip out my ears.

Liberal.

Night. Morning can suck it.

Sex or Romance
Sex. I don't even know how to defend this one, but I just don't give that much of a crap about romantic stuff. If a man treated me like the heroine n a romance novel or chick flick, I would probably laugh in his face. Or just feel really creeped out.

Rural or Urban
Urban. Small towns give me the creeps, and while I could enjoy living in the middle of nowhere for some relaxing intervals, you will find me living permanently in a rural area OVER MY COLD, DEAD BODY. I love the diversity, liberalism, and anonymity of the city.

Vanilla.

Silver. Hate yellow gold, it looks so old-fashioned and tacky to me.

PC. Don't even get me started on the wealth/status competition and general cliquiness that is Apple. I can get faster processing and more memory for much less $$ with a PC.

Winter or Summer: Summer -- if only because there are so many events going on and so much to do…but I really hate humidity, so Florida and New York in summer are kind of the bane of my existence. Chicago has the most beautiful summers ever! I miss them!

Coffee or Tea: Tea - I have kind of a growing obsession.

Cats or Dogs: Cats - though I am slowly warming up to the idea of eventually owning a dog, much to DH's gratification. I still prefer cats though!

Beer or Wine: Wine, beer tastes like stale ass (I imagine).

Salty or Sweet: salty and sweet is actually my preference and I like both individually, but sweet if I have to choose!

Books or Movies: books, I mean...come on...my imagination is way better than cheesy stuff they come up with in Hollywood

Morning or Night: used to be night, but morning now.

Sex or Romance: romance (I'm such a girl)!

Rural or Urban: urban (though after living in nyc for two years, I see the rural appeal... For some reason, I didn't get that same burned out feeling living in Chicago for 5 years...it's population is just so much smaller)

Summer. It can be miserable, but there is still something so magical about long summer evenings, bare feet, back porches, cold drinks, sticky summer night air, tan skin, and nice long swims. Summer makes me feel alive.

Pshhh...dogs, without question. I can appreciate some of the cats people I know have. Sometimes I can see how having a cat would be nice (mainly because they apparently do great pest control whereas my dog will watch a spider walk in front of his snout). A few of my friends have nice cats. One actually chose to sleep with me during the night I stayed over. I'm almost 28 and still get soooo excited when an animal "picks" me. I don't like how aloof cats can be. My dog gives me so much happiness and his adoration of DH and I and everything we do with him is so endearing. Plus, have you see his face? Basically I love all animals - the list of animals I hope to interact with in my life is long and detailed. I just think dogs are cuter/nicer/more rewarding as companions.

Middle ground. Socially liberal, fiscally conservative. Many other issues I am fairly in the middle about. I think several political quizzes have landed me in the independent/libertarian area. I don't understand staunch conservatism on some social/human issues and don't get me started on the ways in which religion inserts itself into the government. I can't stand it. Then again, I don't understand staunch liberalism on some fiscal issues.

I'm a complete night owl. I'd love to be someone who pops out of bed early in the morning to get the day started. If left to my own devices on a crappy Saturday I could easily sleep until noon. Still. With or without a hangover.

Hmmm. I'd have to say romance. Might not have picked that a few years ago. Plus romance can usually lead to sex so, win-win.

Urban. Or even better: urban-ish. A place in between like Asheville or Charlottesville. A little taste of city life nestled in the rural mountains.
