Anyone live around there? My friend will be moving there for her husband's fellowship at the end of June. She doesn't know anyone there, has a new 3 month old baby and does not have a job in DC. Her husband is expecting to work long hours.
She is panicking a bit about leaving the support of her family and friends and asked if I could reach out to you guys to see if there was anyone living around there that might want to meet up. She will be living somewhere close-ish to the White House.
