  • SAHMs and messy houses

Not a SAHM, but one of my friends posted this on FB and I wanted to share:

Wife of PGY-4 (of 6), cat herder, and mom to a sassy-pants four-nager.

I saw that. Too bad DH doesn't care either way!
Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

Yeah, I dislike these articles. Makes me feel like I'm neglecting my kids if the house is clean. I lose either way.

That's always been our philosophy. There are many things that take priority over a clean house. Dh is never the hubby that comes home looking for dinner or a clean house (thank God, lol). But I don't feel like it's the only way to function. My BFF has a house that is model ready every day, seriously. She is just very organized and makes it work (no neglected kids). Just doesn't work for me
