  • Name one thing that has made you happy today.....

The sun, it is shining.....It has been light out since 6 a.m. (of course the fact that I know it was light at 6 a.m. doesn't make me happy just tired.)

I forgot to add that it made me happy also that for the first time in months I didn't need a hat, gloves, or a scarf.

    Have a great day ladies.

When Nathan (my youngest) came out of his room this morning, I peeked down the hallway at him and said "good morning" with a big smile. When he saw me, he started running towards me with arms outstretched, saying "mommy, mommy" and when I picked him up, he gave me a huge hug. It really made my morning because he is NOT usually a very cuddly kid and also because a week ago, he was really sick and not himself.

A great way to start the day!

I'm home from work today (sick day, been experiencing a lot of dizziness and some loss of balance so I'm going to the doctor later). On his way out this morning my husband brought the paper in from the driveway so I wouldn't have to go out and get it myself (I usually pick it up on my way out the driveway). It's not that big of a deal, but it was a nice gesture so it made me smile.

Definitely the weather turning spring-like (it's supposed to stay in the high 50s here all week). That's huge.

My landlord didn't freak out when we told her we were moving out.

It's Super Tuesday (I admit, I really like the phrase "Super Tuesday!" It sounds like a big mattress sale or something) for the presidential primary and my state is one of those voting. I like all the excitement surrounding national elections, no matter who's running. Democracy in action, etc. etc.

We had a role reversal around here which I quite enjoyed! I had a meeting at 8:30 am so my dh had to get the girls off to school. He did a good job, and it was great practice for him since he'll have to take them at least a few times when the baby comes. It made me happy that he adjusted his work schedule to accomodate me!

Today is DH's 33 birthday and I'm so grateful to have him in my life. This makes me very happy. Also, my four year old adamently argues with DH that he will marry me someday even though I am already married to his Daddy.

When asking my 16 month old daughter if she had fun today at Gymboree with all her "friends," she leaned in, hugged me and said, "mom MY friend!"

I actually got up and went to the gym at 5:00 AM! 8O It took quite a bit of pushing by my husband, I am completely unmotivated when left to myself, even though I know it makes me feel better.

The weather is GORGEOUS! It's been sunny, dry, and in the 50s the last few days. Ahhhhhh, my seasonal depression is beginning to lift!

For some bizarre reason, I was extremely exhausted and let myself take a two hour nap! 8O I never nap except for when I was 3 or when I was ...pregnant.

So it's very possible that the one thing that has made me very happy could also make me a bit worried!
