  • Anyone know how to buy an import CD cheap?

I want a CD called Very Best of Sandii's Hawaii but it's an import and all of the websites I've checked say $45....I won't even pay the $15 for one here....this on is from Japan....anyone have any tips?

Long shot here, but maybe you could try some Asian markets. The Asian market that we shop at occasionally sells all kinds of imported things, including CD's and movies, from the Philippines. Maybe you could find a market that is specifically Japanese?

        Have you tried Half.com?

I just did a quick search and the cheapest for that CD is $35.99. But it says the list price is like $62! Wow, must be some good music!

I've been taking Hula classes at one of the student rec centers....my friend Erin and I have been (she's also the one I'm going to Hawaii with). We're having a talent show at the vet school with a grand prize of $250....so I'm talking her into doing a hula for the talent show....one of the songs we use in class would be great for us....So I thought it'd be nice to buy the CD....also since I like the one song, I figured I'd like her others. But after seeing the prices I think I may just have the hula teacher burn us a copy...

But 35 is better than 45.....

I guess you could look at it as an investment opportunity, if you end up winning $250!!
