I have areas in my life where this is easy for me - mostly with other moms - I'm the "keeping it real" mom and have been told I'm pretty welcoming and accepting of all viewpoints. I really, truly don't judge my mom friends at all. We're all just trying to survive.

I struggle with the need for perfection in regards to my house, my relationship to DH, and in spending quality time with our kids. I'm very sensitive to the fact that other people spend more time with their children and/or seem to enjoy it more. I struggle to be a "Yes" mom because I'm generally a "No" mom.
Married to a Urology Attending! (that is an understated exclamation point)
Mama to C (Jan 2012), D (Nov 2013), and R (April 2016). Consulting and homeschooling are my day jobs.

The next time V comes over and tells you that you are doing everything wrong, remember that we love you and we don't give a damn about your housekeeping or dress size. Your toilet is too good for her.
