Wow. People really do eat out a lot. Since we were talking about grocery bills in another thread I'm wondering how much you guys all spend on eating out every month? I thought my grocery bills were large but when you factor in that we never really eat out it changes the picture I think!

When I'm at work- every single meal, every single day. and yes, I have put on weight as a result. (That and it's really hard to work out when your days are 12-16 hours long!!)

When I'm home and my husband is home we will occasionally go out but I love to cook and I miss eating normal foods.

When I'm home and he's not- never- I graze- you know, 7 grapes and a piece of cheese and an peanut butter and banana sandwich....

But, as a person who literally travels the country, I try EXTRA hard to NEVER eat in a chain restaurant. I would be happy if I never set foot again in a Chilis, Bennigans, Ruby Tuesday, Cheesecake Factory, Don Pablos, Chi-chis, Hops, Texas Roadhouse, Outback Steakhouse....They are the scourge of the planet and precisely why so many people gain so much weight- their portions are HUGE and believe me, you can't order half sizes or children's sizes in any of those places. Not to mention they usually have like three things on the menu that are actually good for you. (and I hate Wal-mart, K-mart, and Target too.) The Homogenization of America. Just one of my rants...
