It's ironic because we're just a short drive from a pretty busy beach town and it's packed all summer. I avoid the beach like the plague this time of year. Sept and Oct are perfect beach months to me.
You know where to go... It's very quiet here, even in the summer.

Good to know it's not so crowded there . Is it not hot as hell though? It's face-melting here.

Nope. Barely gets above 90 degrees most days.

The temperatures have been very mild this summer, but still high humidity. I am thankful given that we moved farther south and the normal average temperatures run higher than I would like. This summer has been non-existent. I feel sorry for my kids because we didn't have a vacation and we spent 6 weeks living in a place none of us felt comfortable in. The next thing we know, they are back in school as of Monday. It has been a rough summer for our family. We are in our new house, but still getting settled. Workmen are here inside and out, almost daily. The kids have actually transitioned better than I expected. I think I am having the hardest time, followed by my DD12. Moving sucks.
