What fun/cool thing happened to you today?

    For me:

I was out at the coffee shop studying and a woman commented on my nails. She told me how beautiful they are and asked me if they were real.

I only stopped biting my nails a year or two ago and always dreamed of having the kind of nails I have now. I felt so complimented and happy.

therapeutic massage. Funny that I've gotten used to such intense pain I dose off during sessions now! The awesome thing is after a session I have no pain or discomfort for at least week. Ahhhh

I don't have class today. Ahhhhh. That's about all I've got.

Today I realized that I've been working out for months with the owner of (arguably) the coolest bars in our city, plus another guy that is one of the partners in this really amazing restaurant group. I can't believe I went this long without realizing.

I played tennis for the first time since high school. I almost didn't go, but I'm glad I followed through. It was a lot of fun a perfect upper 60s day.

So fun! I love it. Can't wait until my hips are ok enough to play again.

I can only anticipate what should be cool things that will happen today. By the end of the day, we'll have finished a really big project at work. And I'm going to see Pippin tonight.

Here too. And I'm celebrating by drinking hot apple cider. My life is pretty lame for that to be my highlight!

We picked up some beautiful furniture at a local consignment store; two coffee tables, china cabinet, mirror, two wing back chairs and two candlesticks for $1800. It was a steal!

This technically happened yesterday, but I'm still so excited about it today so I say it counts:

Just booked plane tickets for me and DH to fly to Paris next June (using FF miles! win!))!

DrK drove the boys to school and I got to spend the morning catching up at home.

And, the Sesame Street spoof of the Hunger Games is on tv.
