    I'm dreading winter

    I dread it so much that I'm not enjoying Fall. We've already had a big freeze. It's in the thirties and fourties in the mornings. Last year's winter was so awful and I feel like we had a cool summer and have raced into cooler than usual early Fall temperatures.

    I can't even enjoy my pumpkin spiced latte.

    I'm fantasizing about moving farther south...

    Same here, kris. Two frost advisories so far. 30's at night. Long, hard, cold ass winter, last year. Short cool Summer this year. Dh is in ND right now...says it's freezing.

        I think we need to plan a girls weekend to your cabin in January. No kids, no men. That way we have something to look forward to in the horrible part of winter.

            They say it's going to be worse than let year. Already the temps are about what they were at Halloween. I'm scared.

                              I'm having a hard time enjoying fall too, because I just can't separate it from a sign that "winter is coming."

                              Meanwhile, the weather has been amazing. I mean AMAZING. Really I don't think there has been such a long stretch of perfect since we moved here. And it's supposed to be 80 today.

                              But yeah... Winter is coming, and I'm not excited.
