      1. Erica, Ladybug was my first daughter's initial nickname, but it faded. She's commonly known as Goose now (Lucy-Goosey). Close family friends refer to her as Goose too. I still haven't told her about Top Gun and Goose's demise. Heartbreak.

      2. We live in upstate NY. We're native Texans so this is a big climate change. After living in Texas I get extreme weather and seasons though.

      3. DH is an endocrine surgeon and we've been out of training pain for 8 years now.

      4. We have four kiddos, three girls and one little guy, 10, 8, 5, 4.

Most people in real life call me "E" which is the first letter of my name. And here I'm usually T&S. Screen name is a quote from my mom when something was awesome "it's a miracle! Like tulips and sunscreen!" She apparently thinks those are miracles.

Carolinas which we LOVE after college in the northeast and med school in the Midwest.

                PGY-3 Uro

Two girls C (2.75) and D (10 months). We are also non custodial parents of a beloved Springer Spaniel we had to re-home (he became aggressive), he lives where we did med school.
Married to a Urology Attending! (that is an understated exclamation point)
Mama to C (Jan 2012), D (Nov 2013), and R (April 2016). Consulting and homeschooling are my day jobs.

                  1) I too changed my name back in the mass exodus change to Amiens. It was unique, and mine. I did a study abroad in Amiens, France during dh's 3rd year of medical school
                  2) Northwest Potato Fields
                  3) 9 years attending hood, in gas (anesthesia)
                  4) 4 kids: girl 12 (7th grade), boy 11 (6th grade), boy 8 (3rd grade), and girl 7 (2nd grade). We have 10 chickens, and 3 kittens. The boys play soccer, and cross country. We all mountain and road bike, and ski. The girls have tried various sports, and my oldest asked to stop being put into competitive sports, because "I don't like to compete, I just like doing it on my own time and to have fun." We are the Von Trapp musical family: all 4 kids play piano, E (the oldest) played percussion and flute, and B (#2) plays violin but wants to eventually move to viola.

I ride my bike A LOT. I set a goals this past year to do my 1st century (100 miles), metric century (60 miles), and do at least 2 events one being a multi day event. Dh and I did a road tour event called Cycle Oregon. This year was 34,000 feet of climbing (elevation gain) and 480 miles in some amazingly beautiful scenery. We ended up doing 540 miles, and 36,000 feet of climbing. It was quite fun. The camping that is another story. I also volunteer here and there in the kids' schools: A STEM school, and public middle school. Volunteerism seems to decline the older the child gets- I find other ways to help the teachers. I like to give back to the community by working with a hospice company as a volunteer. So far it is rewarding, and you definitely have to check any reservations about death and dying at the door. I love seeing the relief the family receives just from 1-2 hours of reprieve to run errands or the smile on the patient's face that someone is there to see them, even if it means I do a puzzle with them for an hour or learn how to play Rummy.

Thirteen, from the character "Red XIII" on Final Fantasy 7.
Originally confused with Olivia Wilde's character on "House" -- she's great, but I don't identify on a personal level with her.

We're pretty nomadic, and have moved a lot. Currently in Florida.

FM: the shortage allows us the privilege to basically live wherever we'd like. There will always be a need, and a job - rural or urban. DH is a jack of all trades, master of none attending.

                      2 unruly Siberian Huskies - one that's an Aspy, and another that's a klepto/attention-seeker.

Can we do a quick roll call?

                              1. Charlene, but most people call me Charly. My user name is pretty self explanatory, my DH did a hellaciously long MD/PhD program.

                              3. DH is in his final year of Ophtho residency, PGY-4

                              4. Two daughters, ages 13 (8th grade) and 10 (5th grade). Kids and DH are all seniors this year! 😉

ETA: Forgot about my Baby boys! We have a dorkie Yorkie and a loudmouth lazybones Lhasa Apso. Both are rescues.
