We've all survived yet another week. What are your weekend plans?
DH was on call last weekend so we're really looking forward to this weekend. I'm meeting with a (only) potential babysitter for working part time. She will be her on Saturday to meet everyone, talk and spend some time with the kids. DH wants to take me to buy golf clubs with the end of season sales. We'll go hit some balls on the driving range and have lunch together. Although I was initially reluctant to play golf, I'm enjoying it and like the idea of us having something active to do together in our time off. It's fun to eat out, but then we're always eating and drinking. Not good.
Sunday is suppose to be beautiful here. I'm going to research a family hike in the Adirondacks. There's only a few good weeks left and the summer months slipped away with packing moving. It will be our first hike for the year.
DD10 is going to her first ballroom dancing class tonight. Eek! It's for fifth grade boys and girls and they learn how to dance formally. We're seeing friends from the old school, and invited them out to TcBY after the class to catch up. I can't believe we're here. She's wearing a hot pink dress with a rhinestone accent on an empire waist. A colleague passed it down, and her daughter wore it to the same classes last year. Reminds me of the sisterhood of the traveling pants.
