"Just For Today" megathread. Post little announcements, petty rants, small victories, and superficial confessions here for one day only. But please please please consider opening new threads too. We nosy chickens want to read all the details and talk everything over ad nauseum too.

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I have a backache, my foot hurts, I feel crabby, and my computer is broken again and has to be sent back to lenovo. I feel like a first class grump!

I need to start setting an alarm on the weekends. I love sleeping in until ~8 especially when the kids sleep in that long or longer and when I've been up past midnight hanging out with DH. But makes me SO crabby when I get less than 15 minutes to finish my first cup of coffee before DH gets up and I feel I need to be productive. He's stirring right now and I haven't even gotten to Facebook, this is my first stop of the day...grr.

Such a fussy baby all weekend. She's driving me crazy.

Dh leaves tonight for 3 days in SF. My co resident wives are there enjoying themselves and I'm here working and taking care of kiddos.

Yeah I'm really enjoying all the sightseeing on Instagram already...

In fairness to Dh, his flights are pretty crappy and he's spending the absolute minimal amount of time away. He could definitely stay Weds and fly back Thurs and actually enjoy himself, instead he's coming back Weds to make bedtime which means he has to work Thursday. #gooddaddy

I fantasize about taking a shower that lasts for more than 5 minutes.
Equally desired is my longing to smell and look like I've showered, for more than 5 minutes.

Can you take Starfish in with you? I found it easy to cuddle little babies in the shower and letting the water just wash over both of us. They like to eat and relax in the shower and I found it peaceful. You probably meant alone but I found it was better than nothing...

Really? I thought showers with slippery babies was so difficult.

Stop fucking asking me what I want for Christmas every other week. I only want one thing: a healthy baby. I could give a rat's ass about gifts or where we will be going or what we will be doing those two days. Stop. Asking. Please.

Eh I did the showering with the babies. Now they come a crawling when they hear it.

Easier when dad is around to come get them and let me finish alone though. Now BabyJ gets pissed when daddy takes him out!

We also shower with babies. They love it.

DH has been insisting on weekly bump shots, and he compared this week to last week, and I think I've had a mega growth spurt. Like whoa. It just hit me that I'll be third trimester in a couple weeks!
