  • Snorkle mask

Has anyone every found one that doesn't leak or fog up. I have tried everything.

It also always pulls out half my hair when I remove it. Grrr

The last time I went I smeared some defogger on the lens, that seemed to help. It's been ages so I can't remember the name of it but it was made specifically for snorkels I think. Worked better than the old spit trick. As for fit, no idea. I've never found a pair that didn't eventually leak around the eyes.

I think it has something to do with hair texture and face shape. I've literally never had a problem diving or snorkeling but my husband has problems every single time, no matter what equipment we use.

The snorkel masks by USdiver that they sell at Costco for instance have a vent thing built in to the nose. It can fill up with water so you have water in your nose which sucks. If you seal it tightly to your face it doesn't fill. We have some cheaper snorkels that do not have this nose feature (solid mask) and they work better. We all fight for them lol. I got some from Speedo and the USDiver brand cheaper ones. Defogger is necessary bc after 2-3 uses your mask will fog up otherwise. Hair? If you don't want it to tangle I guess put it in a cap first. Mine always tangles.
