Tapatalk wont let me upload pics

Sorry--I couldn't find the Tech Issues forum on the forum list?

I tried to post a pic and Tapatalk forced me to update (bitches) to do so. Now it is saying I cannot post a pic til I "activate" my account with an email. Did that. Still can post. Other people are apparently having the same issue on the Tapatalk support forums. Anyone else and have you found a way to fix it?

I had problems posting pictures on Tapatalk too. I was getting an error message that a new version needed to be downloaded. I ended up uninstalling Tapatalk and installing the new version.

I mean, I had to uninstall all prior versions of Tapatalk

I'm just back having done same. Seems I had two versions of tapatalk, basic and pro. Had to remove both.

how are people posting their pics on here. I've been upload to flickr and then coying the address. It's a royal PITA. Any better ways from your phone?

My phone automatically uploads to flickr, so I usually just copy the embed code if I'm at a computer or upload via tapatalk otherwise.

If you use the advanced reply feature in Tapatalk, the plus sign on the lower left of the screen, it will open a page with a menu in the upper right corner. One is to attach photos. It will connect you with the gallery in your phone.

Boom! See MrsK giving computer advice? Now I'm feeling all cocky. Even though I just called my cel phone a computer.

Yeah, used to work that way for me too. Now, I'm getting the series of messages ST described. I refused to open an account. So...do most people choose Tapatalk hosted or on this forum when they upload?

And FYI, now I can't see alotofyarn's photos without signing in to yahoo. They never had me do that before.

The error stopped me too. Then I uninstalled the old Tapatalk and installed the new one.

Tapatalk wont let me upload pics

From the reply page, I clicked the three dots and it opened a menu. I clicked on "photo sharing" and change it to "attachments" from "Tapatalk" and can now upload pics from my phone without having to make a Tapatalk ID.

I only have one Tapatalk on my phone... did you need to delete it before updating? Maybe I'll try to delete the updated version and redownload the whole thing. I don't want a tapatalk id or account. I can't bear adding one more account to my life.

You don't have to have one. Just switch from "Tapatalk" to "attachments" in the pic sharing menu
