"Just For Today" megathread. Post little announcements, petty rants, small victories, and superficial confessions here for one day only. But please please please consider opening new threads too. We nosy chickens want to read all the details and talk everything over ad nauseum too.

      Up since 5:
Married to a Urology Attending! (that is an understated exclamation point)
Mama to C (Jan 2012), D (Nov 2013), and R (April 2016). Consulting and homeschooling are my day jobs.

Sadly, my 15 year old has started getting up at 5 to study before school. At least at that age, they make their own breakfast and discourage interaction with other humans.

I have two early birds. They are both ready to go at 5. I should probably go to bed earlier...

I had to drag myself out of bed at 7:30. I really would love to know life without being tired all the time. The kids are all still asleep, but I need coffee before the boy gets up.

That's impressive...you couldn't even get me to do that now, let alone at 15...

Finally got DS2 back to sleep in his swing (the only place he'll sleep now), and now I can hear DS1 is awake. Not looking forward to time change...

So exhausted and overwhelmed ... and the laundry is the icing on the cake.
