"Just For Today" megathread. Post little announcements, petty rants, small victories, and superficial confessions here for one day only. But please please please consider opening new threads too. We nosy chickens want to read all the details and talk everything over ad nauseum too.

    Rant (?)
After playing musical beds last night, the morning is looking alright. No arguing, just super tired adults.

    Rave!
Yesterday, the smell of cold salt air and fires in a fireplace somewhere nearby was heaven to me... Even if I only got a small taste while taking out the garbage and recycling. That is hands down one of my favorite scent combos.

B finally has a day off and I am over the moon about it. He's been slogging through 90+ hour weeks and I'm way over being sick, tired and alone. It was so nice when he was able to get my ginger ale for me last night so I didn't have to move!

Do you ever miss them so much that you just want to stare at them all day that their off just because you can actually SEE them?

Bed between 11 and midnight. Up at 2am with the dog. Up at 4am with the dog. Up at 5:40 with the sniffly girl, dozed in her bed until 6:50, then back to my bed and was just was dropping off to sleep when my 7:25 alarm went off. Whee! Such fond memories of the infant years! (Ahem. Not.)

I think I'm skipping yoga. I don't even have a great reason. Maybe I'm tired because of DST? Maybe I'm just lazy?

(In my defense, I did workout this morning, it just wasn't that hard, so I probably should motivate myself to go. But no, not going to happen).

Aww yay ALOY and MPS!! Y'all look terrific!

DST is making me want to smack my dogs. They now have no clue when dinner is and just stare at me and whine incessantly for hours.

I know he'd rather be coming home because he hates this sort of thing, but I'm jealous that DH gets to go to a fancy restaurant for some club dinner tonight. We'll both be bored, but he'll be eating a $50 meal for free and I'll be eating leftover potatoes and PB&J. :P

                        Rant: DST can suck it.

Rave: My mom flew up for the day to hangout/watch DS1 while I took DS2 to his 2 month checkup. I'm so, so, so lucky to have such an awesome mom!

I made dinner, on time. No one ate it. This reinforces why I don't make dinner much right now.

Agreed on your rant! Except, isn't this standard time? Standard time can suck it!!

                              What a wonderful mom!
