The K Bros were awake at 4AM, 4:30am, and 5am this morning. The rack and shelf fell down in my closet this morning. I haven't had my coffee yet.

Today is not off to a good start. Got an email from the doggie hotel where our pup Tinsley usually stays, and they're already booked up for the holidays. I just sent an email to a new place, and even if they have availability, she'll need to come in for a full day of daycare before they can confirm the reservation. Such a pain! I'd almost consider letting her fly home with us, but the combination of her anxiety and my anxiety about flying with two kids might be too much to handle.

Day 3 of preschool and I still feel like a chicken with its head cut off. I need a serious schedule but I can stick to and follow. We did manage to take the dog to get her nails trimmed this morning now!

So I leave for a flight for two weeks in a few hours


My office is flooded!! A connector from the toilet broke off. It flooded 3 exam rooms, a bone density machine and room. The office girls come and get me in my office. Which I was in doing the unemployment appeal to tell me about the "leak". NO ONE KNEW TO TURN THE WATER OFF. so I had to get off the appeal phone call. Run to the back office and jump in front off the projectile water and turn it off. I am soaked in toilet water.

The paint is peeling from the walls. It will all have to be repainted.

Stress eating chocolate because my nutcase boss decided to have a staff meeting in my student interview rooms up until 15 minutes before we were scheduled to start interviews. Of course, she couldn't be bothered to start the meeting on time and then nitpicked the schedules for Saturday's events and my boss and the coordinator in my dept were terrible at handling their allotted time in the meeting. Like do we need to discuss for 10 minutes who is arriving when? I did not need that stress when I was having a rough morning emotionally. I am learning it's not healthy to try and push the grief to the back burner. Hopefully I can leave here on time tonight and relax a bit more than the past 2 10+ hour days I've worked.

Our budget review was awful. We are trying to regroup and figure out what to do. Basically we need the president of our area to sacrifice all of us. There is still so much work to do and I feel horribly sad and nauseated.

I'm so sorry. I know that stress/bile feeling in the back of my mouth all too well.
