"Just For Today" megathread. Post little announcements, petty rants, small victories, and superficial confessions here for one day only. But please please please consider opening new threads too. We nosy chickens want to read all the details and talk everything over ad nauseum too.

LOL, sorry MrsK but that made me chuckle . My rant/rave is similar but far less extreme.
Rave: It's cold outside again! (yes, that's a rave here)
Rant: The dogs were so excited to go play out in the cold they woke me up at 6:30. Now they're all sleeping soundly on the couch after running amok in the backyard for an hour.Wife of a surgical fellow; Mom to a busy toddler girl and 5 furballs (2 cats, 3 dogs)

November 7th News
Rave: Thank goodness: wind is "cold", and out of the north.
This 80 degree in November business must stop!
I worked out again today, and made it through class.
Rant: DS1 thought it would be a good idea to secret poo in my car this morning...

Having a wonderfully lazy day today. My whole week has been booked solid seeing family and friends, yesterday I spent several hours in the car to see my mom (epic baby clothes shopping happened!) so today I'm enjoying my last day of vacation in peace.
Baby Baskets is not taking the day off, I gave her a little coffee and she's treating me like a soccer ball. Hoping she flips over soon so my bladder can catch a break.Wife of PGY-4 (of 6), cat herder, and mom to a sassy-pants four-nager.

I had to take today off because nanny had to go to a wedding. We had a blast and now I'm waiting for the big one to wake up to do a craft!
And I made these for color sorting for DD - Montessori moms will recognize them. I so wish I could send her to one of those schools.
