    You should write a follow up article! EMRs have been crazy in the ED because most are written for inpatient use (that hospitals adapt) and they try to shoehorn it in to work. Then, the chart received by other docs doesn't even give useful information. It's designed for billing, when the entire idea of a MR was to enhance communication between providers. The amount of money spent on implemented EMRs and then scribes, etc needed to make them function is astounding!
