It's gentle and can be used to remove all makeup. Bonus, it lasts forever!

Then I use a basic sunscreen during the day topped with the Divine cream from this line: http://usa.loccitane.com/new-divine-collection,82,1,53640,0.htm

I also use the cream at night and the oil. I've tried lots of creams and skincare and this line is my fav. I use every single drop! The folks at the L'Occitane store are very free with the samples so you can ask to try any of these products before you buy.

I use all Mary Kay. I wash my face at night with Timewise cleanser, then follow with night solution and moisturizer. If I remember, I use the Firming Eye Cream (or whatever eye cream I've gotten from Birchbox). In the morning, I wash my face with water only, then I use the day solution and follow it with moisturizer (with sunscreen SPF 30).

I researched this about six months ago and remember reading that Obaji and TNS/Skin Medica are the two brands that are most commonly recommended at dermatologist offices. You should be prepared for MASSIVE sticker shock, however.

I have also had the Cera Ve line recommended. It is much more reasonably priced and it does work. I agree with the Retinol, Vitamin C, and Sunscreen recommendations.

My skin is rosacea nightmare, so I've had the pleasure (not) of trying and reacting to pretty much everything. This is the only thing that works for me:

Cleanser: La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser
Cream: Nia24 Skin Strengthening Complex
Sunscreen: EltaMD Clear

My bank account weeps, but it's my freaking face. If there were ever a place to splurge this is it. With that said my derm's first recommendation was CeraVe. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me, but it's super affordable and you can get it everywhere.

I am loving the AM moisturizer! No residue, no greasy feeling, no smelly stink.
We'll see how the PM one goes.

Is there anything available as an anti-aging or eye cream that feels this amazing?

It is so frustrating sorting through all the products out there. I do not look my age but I wonder if that is genetics and the fact that I lived in a humid climate for so long. Humidity (although a curly hair girl's nemesis) is awesome for your skin. While living in pidunkville dessert amongst the tumbleweeds and dirt storms, my skin took a huge hit...especially in winter. I went super gentel. I used coconut oil to remove my eye make-up and would leave a light layer for night. In the a.m. I used cetaphil in the shower and used philosophy's when hope is not enough plus used clinique tinted moisturizer with spf. I also tried to weekly do a facial mask with honey, baking soda and a little lemon.

Now that I am back in humid town, I am using clinique's yellow moisturizer in the a.m. instead. Not sure that it is doing anything for me...it is not making me look better but it is not making me look worse either. I only keep using it because that bottle lasts for-ever. I do want something that evens out my skin more so will be on the hunt soon.

I went to Ulta and had a dermalogica brightening facial and liked the products. I plan on trying their stuff since I can return it after using it if it does not do a thing for me.

That may be a place to start for you Kris...someplace where you can return the stuff if it does not work for you.
