Spent several hours yesterday at the ob/gyn...good news is the cyst is gone. Took blood to see if I am menopausal since I haven't had a period in several months now. She hadn't heard about my hubby and was shocked!! A friend came over in the afternoon and I showed her how I homeschool and we discussed what she should use with her boys. We talked about doing some of the music stuff at SFA together, which would be awesome!!!! We could take turns driving there! Plus, my daughter wouldn't mind the drive so much with the two boys to visit with. ( My daughter is 7th and the boys are 6th and 7th. They were best friends as they spent HOURS together when she and her husband were our music ministers at our church while we were rehearsing. They are moving back.)
Going to the family practice doc to check in today. ( I am really tired of doctor appointments, though I'm almost done grading my essays and doing grades for my classes! ) However, hubby and I are going out to eat for lunch today. My daughter has a choir concert tonight.. Hubby isn't sleeping well. Returning to work is ok. Not sure he's really enjoying it. I'll bring up the name of the psychiatrist today. We haven't seen each other much over the last two days. ( He's been home...I haven't.) I must say I've enjoyed getting back into my routine. I think that 3 weeks of being with hubby nearly 24/7 was helping to drive me over the edge. It has been nice getting to my routines and friends.

Ugh. Stomach bug for my youngest. Poor little guy. My washer and I are both exhausted.
Rave: Yesterday, I cancelled a visit to my good friend who has a 1 wk old premie bc I thought my kiddo seemed a little off. I'd feel HORRIBLE if we brought illness into their home.Wife to PGY4 & Mother of 3.

Woke up at around 2:00am to DH laughing. Not in a creepy way, in a genuinely amused way - his natural laugh. He doesn't talk in his sleep, but apparently he's a sleep laugher. Wonder what he was dreaming about? Between my dog who wags his tail in his sleep and my completely-asleep laughing husband - I'm intrigued about what they are dreaming about!Wife, support system, and partner-in-crime to PGY-3 (IM) and spoiler of our 11 y/o yellow lab

I went to work without my pump today, and it has been awesome! I just manually expressed a couple of ounces for comfort (I had been pumping about 4-6oz in the last month). I'm excited that we made it to a year, and I'll probably miss parts of it, but I am so glad to be done, at least during the day!!Allison - professor; wife to a urology attending; mom to baby girl E (11/13), baby boy C (2/16), and a spoiled cat; knitter and hoarder of yarn; photographer

I've been plotting with a few on here about getting DH a camera for Christmas. I am a camera dummy. 😄 He totally won't see it coming.
(I'm the super cheap one).

Originally posted by CassyGoing to pick up Clara early from doggie daycare. There was a scuffle and she was bitten. So instead of picking up extra hours tomorrow in making more money, I get to spend money at the vet. Not to mention my poor baby. Although the manager told me that she doesn't appear to realize she's injured she's in pretty good spirits, just kind of freaked out from being in a kennel right now instead of the dog group.
But so good that she doesn't seem to notice it. One of my parents' dogs was bit at the dog park and the poor little guy (he's actually huge, but he is the younger of the two) totally freaked out. The vet was actually worried that he may have a heart attack (he was 2), because he was so distressed 😳.
