FML. The former MIL's SO just texted me that if they can't come tomorrow, then they will come Sunday. Um no. I made plans for Sunday. Fuck you all together. I'd really rather they didn't come at all.

That is AWESOME! Enjoy having her home for the week!

That's total BS. I hope you tell them no, it's so last minute. I hate that shit! (And trust me if my mil was ever a former mil, her and I would never speak again...).

Believe me, I said that they cannot come on Sunday. I suggested they contact the ex to make arrangements to see the kids next weekend.

You know, so she can see her son?

Um yeah. That sound like a great idea! Deal with your own family!!!

I'm so glad you didn't have to change your plans.

                November 21st News

My BIL offered to take my kids so I can help my sister at the last day of a craft show.

And the ex wants to do something one on one with Sophie.

So, no, their last minute indecision isn't my problem. I am really tempted to tell them that I have been ill and the visit is not a good idea.

Scarlett I am so angry on your behalf!! Document document document. That's complete bullshit and not remotely what you need to be dealing with right now. I'm sorry.

                          Scarlett, that's horrifying!!!

My rant: DH's aunt is in town (she technically lives here but works OOT 95% of the time) and watching the kids this weekend. I asked her if she was joining us on Thurs and she says "well not if [dhs parents names] are in town, I'll just eat with them and then you can come see us right after" because we have plans with friends thinking no family would be in town and Dh is on call. Apparently my in laws might be visiting us for the holiday without telling me. Glad I didn't have any plans.....assholes.

Do you want to know the most evil thought though? I was like "well, they say they're coming but we all know they probably won't have the $$ unless I pay for it so they won't actually be here". I'm going straight to hell.

You can join me at my awesome table in hell. I texted FMIL's SO that I was ill yesterday and that C vomited today. He responded that FMIL was at urgent care for GI pain. My first thought was pure elation that they might not come tomorrow.
