Heading out this morning with the kids for my first holiday meal of the season. It's a 4-hour drive. DH is staying at home and shopping/cleaning/cooking for DD's birthday party tomorrow.Laurie

DH is working today and I have to do all the Thanksgiving grocery shopping... Then he leaves tomorrow for an interview and I just realized he also won't be around to help me clean the apartment before his parents arrive on Tuesday, so it's all on me, and I have homework to do and should also work on a presentation for work. And all I really want to do is lay in bed and read. FMIL is ill and they are not coming to visit today. I am thrilled. I suggested they contact the ex to do something next weekend.
ETA: I am thrilled they aren't coming, not thrilled that she is ill. I'm a cold heartless bitch, but even that is too much for me.KrisComment

Cold and rainy = so unproductive. At least I worked out before the freezing rain started. But man, I have no motivation. I totally forgot to stop at the (indoor) farmers market, and now I am dreading the Saturday craziness at WFs.

Aaaaand, handyman says it's a special order part. We're going to be without a dishwasher for thanksgiving. I'm officially laying down the pregnant card right now.
