Packers come today to box up the last of our stuff. I've been gradually moving stuff for weeks so we don't have much left. The kids are nervous. K1 filled a coffee can with his treasures and put it in my car because he's afraid that the movers will lose his favorite matchbox car or something like that. K2 is running around grabbing random stuff and asking if we are bringing it. I guess I'm doing the same.

I couldn't sleep last night. And sometime around 2, when I finally fell asleep, DD5 crawled into bed with me.

I am a zombie today.

MrsK - Do you have any empty bins, containers, etc? I'd let the kids fill it with whatever they want. I do this for our long-distance moves and it really helps the anxiety (plus, it'll keep them busy for two minutes). I'm thinking of you today!!!

My sisters and I all got into our turkey burn spin class for Friday. It filled up in less than 2min. I'm so happy that we all got a spot (not sure I'm going, but great to have the option to spend the morning with them.

This wind is off the chain right now. It's been crazy at least since I got up around 7. Current sitting in my car in a parking lot and it keeps blowing so hard and moving my car that is feels like someone is slamming their body against the car.

Here TOO!!! And it sucks because otherwise it's just about the nicest day ever.

Just to prove how shitty my windows are... My blinds are whipping all over the place. Literally flying like a foot or two of the window sill. Thank god it isn't 14* today!!

DS1 has sucked all the fun out of today, so he will be in his room for the rest of it.

I somehow bought DH some avocados at the store, despite the best efforts of DS1 & 2 to derail that plan.
I hope those are the best tasting avocados he's ever had... 😄

This wind is kinda freaking me out because DH has to fly home tonight! I wouldn't want to be on a plane in this crazy weather...

Also in the windy windy zone today. It's crazy. Downed power lines with sparks flying in our neighborhood. You feel like your car might blow off the road, too. I can't wait for it to die down a bit.

DS2 is 3 months old today! Time is flying.

Pretty sure I got someone fired today - receptionist at my salon canceled my appointment instead of another person with the same first name. She then didn't give my stylist the message when I called about it. And she's done this 3x before with just my stylist's clients. I raised holy hell but made it clear that I wasn't blaming my stylist.

Yup. The hose reel thing that was ATTACHED TO THE HOUSE came off sometime today. Completely nuts
