My niece started playing the cello at school sometime in the last month, I think. FIL and step-MIL bought her a cello for Christmas. It doesn't look like an expensive one, but still - they couldn't have waited a year to see if she actually sticks with it? She's certainly not a natural based on the video SIL posted recently. Sometimes the lack of common sense in that family kills me.
