My ILs arrive this afternoon. I have not finished cleaning, I have not finished my homework, and I'm supposed to work a full day and also pick them up at the airport. I just picked DH up at midnight last night and he's off at work for a full day now. I've barely seem him since 2 weekends ago. I'm tired. There aren't enough hours in the day.

Thanksgiving program is today at DS1's school. Hoping he wears his costume and participates -- the Halloween one didn't go as planned... (He said their song was "scary" and did not want to wear any costume).

Oh, the scandal that would cause!!
I had a fleeting hope that the dishwasher would be fixed tomorrow, but no such luck. This holiday week is proving to be a bit less relaxing than I anticipated. At least DH gets to take a couple days off (and make them up on a future weekend of course...) so I'll get to be in the same room with him for a little while. Even if his parents are here. Sigh.

Holy crap! I'm sure you shut the main off already. Was this in new house or rental?

I'm taking mine back to costco right now. Not even bothering to try and fix it.

I just got the refund for my 3yo mattress yesterday. Wonder if I'm going to be put on some sort returning probation....
