THE DOG IS HOME!!! She somehow made it 2 neighborhoods away, which is totally insane. She was covered in all kinds of briars and mess from the woods. A couple of girls from that neighborhood saw her and didn't recognize her, so they opened their car door and she jumped right in. They saw her tags and brought her straight home. My mom gave them a couple of bottles of their nicest wine and a couple hundred bucks to thank them. I'm so happy!Allison - professor; wife to a urology attending; mom to baby girl E (11/13), baby boy C (2/16), and a spoiled cat; knitter and hoarder of yarn; photographer

She's an 8 pound fluffy black and white Havanese, and she trekked about a mile through the woods to come out into this other neighborhood! She was out for about 14 hours before they found her and brought her home.Allison - professor; wife to a urology attending; mom to baby girl E (11/13), baby boy C (2/16), and a spoiled cat; knitter and hoarder of yarn; photographer
