Anyone care to guess what is directly below this spot on the kitchen counter?
If you said a half-full dishwasher with a little magnet on the front indicating that its contents are dirty and thus inviting more dirty dishes to be added to it rather than be left sweating on the counter above, you would be correct.

I'm struggling with the food allergy thing. Who knew that candy canes weren't all safe for people with nut allergies? And lip balm? And lotion? The list goes on and on. Every season, there's something new I need to look out for. My DD is doing really well, but the first year with food allergies is a steep learning curve. It's overwhelming, and I don't like to think about it too much because I could make myself totally insane with the thought that a piece of the wrong food could kill her. Really hoping it gets easier as time goes on.-Deb
