  • Because money grows on trees ....

My friend's daughter is home from college and needs work. I just hired her for $12/hr for 4 hrs/day ...3 days a week to clean my house. I've come up with a detailed list of what needs to be done and I plan on working with her. By the end of her winter break I plan on having all closets cleaned and organized, all rooms and floors cleaned, and all kitchen cabinets cleaned out.

I can't believe she agreed to help me!

And I feel no guilt. Just gleeful joy!

I'm not sure I'm ready to let a stranger into my cupboards! I'd spend the 4hrs explaining what was found in the first few minutes! !

    Good luck!

LOL. I'm desperate. Plus, I know how her mom lives, so she won't be shocked. Anything private is in my closet which is off limits anyway.

Excellent idea!!! I have someone work with me occasionally on that stuff too and she keeps me on task bc she knows how bad I am with distractions.

Despite what you say, I'm sure you are a neatnik (at least in theory). I could never set such a lofty goal for my home. *All* clean? At once? Ha!

So awesome!! For Christmas, DH scheduled a house cleaner to start coming. I'm so excited, but also nervous about how it will go...
