                  ROFL NO!

I didn't back into it, it has just been on its last leg for about 2 years and it keeps breaking over and over. DH fixed it again today, but the day where our cars are stuck in the garage because it finally goes is fast approaching.

My mom is legit crazy. The baby spit up tonight in her little floor bed (couch cushions covered by a mattress pad and sever sheets) but it was slightly vomit like because she'd had some dinner and then I fed her - she's had a bad cough and I think she just gagged. No big deal, I changed the sheets etc, it really wasn't that big a deal - I can't stand vomit and it was literally smaller than my hand and I was dealing well.

She runs in, freaks out, makes me get the linens in the laundry immediately (keep in mind I'm holding the baby bc DH is putting the toddler to bed) and then proceeds to Febreeze the entire room to a nauseating level because of "the smell" which I can assure you was minimal.

She never even asked how D was (which is fine), if she could help (which I would have declined), or if we needed anything for our sick baby.

I think I was raised by wolves.

I'm considering risking drying up my milk supply (on top of the BCP reasons) so I can take a proper decongestant. I gave in and took cough medicine even though I can't stand the way it makes me feel because I coughed so hard I threw up.

In other news, I ordered my parents an analog to digital converter for all their old videos. Be prepared for YouTube gold.

Oh, and E took a nap from 11:30-2:15 today. It was glorious. She signed all done with lunch, so I took her into her room and rocked her for a couple of minutes, then laid her down, and she was out. She woke up after an hour, but I rocked her back to sleep. I took a work call and kept expecting her to wake up any second, but she just kept sleeping, and it was SUCH a productive call (though that's a rant, because I should not be the more knowledgeable person on setting up a server when I'm on the phone with two IT guys). When it goes well, this one nap thing is glorious!

                            Oh no ST! That stinks

And T&S - I feel your pain, I truly do. It's always overreaction to normal things that sets me over the edge with my mom too. How long are you there for?

Rave: my chair came today. It's great. No more nursing in bed!

Rant: the muscle spasms and aches have not gone away. Consistent pain today in my left shoulder, neck and chest. If you had told me 2 weeks ago this would be my biggest issue after my C-section, I would have laughed at you in disbelief. I wish it would go away so I could hold my baby longer and not be in pain while nursing.

                              Aww, sorry friends...

As for glitter, at least Lisa Frank isn't popular anymore. I used to drive my mom crazy with hot pink unicorns and butterflies.

I spent four hours in traffic today and finally got to eat lunch at 8 tonight. Grrr...winding down with Facts of Life Christmas episodes on YouTube.
