          This happened today:

Husband: I'm ready to go to the gym. Get in the car, kids!

          Wife: Wait!
          - takes kids to potty
          - wipes faces
          - makes kids put away breakfast dishes
          - puts on kids' shoes
          - "Okay, now get in the car, kids!"

L.Jane, our house too. Dh comes up to bed with his cell phone and laptop. We put on a DVD and he spends the entire time surfing the internet, etc. He can be up in bed until 2am. I fall asleep within 20 minutes.

At my house this is framed as my husband having good sleep hygiene while mine is poor. It's not that he needs to be more like me--I need to be more like him! This is perpetually on my New Years resolution list.
