  • As seen on TV

I admit it. I kinda like some "as seen on TV" products.

DH and I just bought a mattress wedge. Changing my life!!!

Also bought and liked: Amope foot sander, Ped Egg, tortilla bowl pans.

I'm sure there are more. I'm kind of a sucker. Sometimes, I get sucked into infomercials, and think, I need that (but I never buy). The Walgreens As Seen on TV section though, it calls to me.

You? Have you bought anything good as seen on TV ?

Until we got our good knives, I couldn't live without my Vidalia Chop Wizard.

My kids also like their Flashlight Friends and Pillow Pets. Occasionally. Then they get bored with them and don't touch them for months.

The pedi-paws nail trimmer (a dremel tool sanding extension would do a lot better).

The furminator -- too rough for my fluffy boys.

I haven't found "the one" for any of the "as seen on TV" stuff, yet.

My mom is a SUCKA!! She is always disappointed with the stuff she gets....except the slinky looking water hose. She loves that thing and got us one. Must say that it actually does what it claims to do.

Side note...for DH's department party we did As Seen on TV gifts instead of white elephant. The bacon bowls were quite popular.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

We have the ped-egg for sanding calluses caused by the bars in gymnastics. We have pillow pets too.

I don't know if this counts but Proactiv when it first came out a loooong time ago. It worked!

We had an emery cat board scratcher for a while, but it didn't work and seemed to actually hurt the cats, so we got rid of it. We had a furminator too, and it would get hair off of the cats, but I didn't feel like it really helped anything, and we certainly never got the mountain that they showed on TV.

MIL gave us a snuggie too, and I have to admit, it was really nice for sitting on the couch, watching TV, and surfing on the computer. That didn't make the move though, and we never replaced it.

I loved the Topsy Tail, too!

I almost forgot because I just buy it at the grocery store, but Oxyclean is pretty awesome. I soak my white laundry in it occasionally, and it really brightens them up. It also worked great on some glassware and my stained Le Cruset pot.

                    I love me some OxyClean.
A long time ago I bought done stove pots with the strainer in the lid. They were actually kind of useful, but if I remember correctly the enamel started chipping after s couple months and they never made the move from college to med school.

We had those pots too, OG, from MIL I think, and we used them a lot too. I don't know why we got rid of them.

Oh yeah, OxyClean and Topsy Tail! Except I stopped using the latter when I watched a documentary about polygamists and they all had Topsy Tail hair
