My school semester starts today. I have class from 1-4 and then again from 6-9. I just can't seem to motivate myself though. I looked at my syllabi last night and saw the assignments/papers/presentations and jut thought "NO!"

Oh. And I've had a nosebleed all morning. blech.

I rode my horse today. We both worked hard. He's getting fat. He was such a hunk all summer/early fall. Its been too cold to ride. My emotions have to be in line too.
Dh leaves soon...My kids are so busy this weekend. I don't know how I'm going to get them everywhere. 😕

Having a "why do I even bother dusting/sweeping/cleaning/tidying?!" day.

Seriously though, I don't know why I bother.

Lost a nice ewe lamb today. Been fighting for her for weeks now. She refused to eat any concentrate from the first day rations went out. No idea why and had her penned with her sister and still she refused. Wrote today's haiku whilst burying her.

Gaunt shovel at work.
Thoughts match the black earth's deep mood.
Winter takes it's toll.

Lots of little people clean up today: it helped to know that my butterfly garden seeds and raised beds for veggies are on their way. I can't wait to make this place more "me" friendly.
