    Quick Mortgage Question

    Hi gang,

    I know we've covered this but I can't find the answer and its a weekend so my banker's not around to answer this for me. If we are closing on our house on June 1st when will our first mortgage payment be due? I just can't remember!

    My guess is July 1st. We just refinanced and our closing was just March 31st so we didn't have a payment for April. Our first payment is due May 1st. I think if you can get it pushed to June 15th (after second half of month), you might not have to make a payment until August. I think that was how our lender worked it for us when we bought our first home.
