What a great topic....
Biggest pluses: The absolutely wonderful, funny, amazing women I have had the honor to meet as wives in this experience...without which I would have most certainly gone insane. I also echo the sentiment that seeing my husband finally "come into his own" and be passionate about what he does....he must be to be excited about rounding at 5am.
Biggest minuses: Holding my breath everytime I swipe my card at the grocery store. Doing everything alone since my husband is on call, or is sleeping. Not being able to enjoy the most mundane things most couples do together....oh yeah, and that WICKED post-call crabbiness!
