Weather isn't ruining much for me at the moment, I probably would feel differently if I was working. Things do slow down here for snow, but no massive freakouts for a dusting. Timing is everything though - wintry precip during rush hour is always a headache. It's still snowing here at 8am and the state has called for their offices to be on a delayed opening. Most school districts here are closed, primarily because we have 6+ inches of snow. Should be interesting for DH to get through our neighborhood since we probably won't get plowed until late this evening.

The road in front of my grandma's house hasn't been plowed yet and is covered in snow and ice, so there's no way we were getting out this morning. Glad I got my flight changed yesterday! I'm hoping everything will be cleared tomorrow afternoon when we have to leave. I think it's supposed to get above freezing though.

Sorry to hear of your travel woes. This winter is inconvenient, to say the least. We've got ice dams and leaks, and roofers aren't even returning calls cause they've got so much backed-up work.

Fingers crossed we can make it out tomorrow. I think the hardest part will be getting out of the driveway, because apparently my grandma ran out of salt and doesn't own a shovel...
